Here at The Challenge Podcast, we're bringing religion and politics back to the dinner table. We believe these are crucial conversations that need to be had with each other.
On April 16th, I had the opportunity to sit down with former Iowa State Representative Mr. Brad Sherman. At that time, he was the first and only official Republican candidate to announce his run for Governor of Iowa. Since then, five more candidates have entered the race: Eddie Andrews (Rep), Randy Feenstra (Rep), Rob Sand (Dem), Paul Dahl (Dem), and Julie Stauch (Dem).
We decided last week to revisit our conversation with Brad, share some clips, and create a blog post to break down our discussion. Our conversation did delve into a few topics that many would consider “controversial.” It was interesting to get his take on things and hear a bit more about how he would approach situations in the future. We talked about separation of church and state, constitutional state sovereignty, church repentance, the purpose of government, COVID, medical freedom… the list goes on! It was a very in-depth conversation for such a short period of time, really. Just a reminder: You can watch the full episode over on Rumble or YouTube, or even share it with anyone you know who may be interested in learning more about Brad Sherman.
