5.3.26 Strongholds & Bondage Pt.14 The Authority of Jesus Christ

Probably the most difficult, and yet most necessary, in seeing our lives, overcome strongholds and bondage, which produces the fruit of sin in our lives, is the exchange of our own desires for God‘s will. In first Peter 4:1-19 we learn that we can either suffer the suffering of Christ unto righteousness, or suffer the result of unrighteous desires. When we suffer onto righteousness, we also find and are encouraged to minister and serve and love the body of Christ. The Lord wants us always to have a result of His righteousness in our lives. He looks at us, his body of believers first to judge, righteousness, and unrighteousness. We shouldn’t be afraid of this because it means His desire is for his best in our lives. If we can exchange our will for His will, you can begin and continue to walk-in righteousness, with old bondage, and strongholds being broken! Begin even today. Tell God you want His desires above your own, and thank him for the work of the cross that produces the righteousness that He desires for you!
