3.29.26 Strongholds & Bondage Pt.11 The Authority of Jesus Christ

One of the most difficult things is to discern what are my works, and what is the works of the Lord that fulfill my freedom. The book of James says that faith without works is dead. Hebrews Chapter four verse two says "we have heard the good news preached to us, but the word that they heard did not profit them because it was not united by faith in those who heard it." One of the things in this lesson series that we emphasize is that obedience is putting all of our faith, Hope love and trust in Christ’s work. It is trusting that he is the one that has the power to set us free from strongholds and bondage‘s. That is the work of obedience. In the midst of that, we need to hear God speak to us the truth so that we can Place our faith in what the Lord is saying. In the book of Joshua chapter 22, we learn that Israel “heard God‘s voice and obey it“. They trusted in his saving power, but still had to act because of what they heard him say. If you want to be free from repetitive actions of sinful behavior, we must come to the Lord and ask for him to speak the truth to us so that we can believe in his power to break us of bondage. It is directly relational to you from the Lord, and he wants to speak to your heart so that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free!
