3.15.26 Strongholds & Bondage Pt:9 The Authority of Jesus Christ

“All too often we forget that Jesus, the son of God, became flesh. He had a body and blood just like we do. We discredit sometimes the effort needed in Christ submission to overcome sin. Sometimes we think because he was the son of God. It must’ve been easy for him. It most certainly was not. By the power of the Holy Spirit, he submitted his life, a living sacrifice that sin would have no place in him. Hebrews chapter 2 reminds us that he became flesh that he would have understanding in our sufferings. The gospel of John chapter 1 states that he became flesh and welcome among us. We must not succumb to self-pity, thinking it was easy for Jesus. But we must rejoice that in his victory over death, he has produced a victory over the devil who has lied to us all of our lives. Believe the truth! Believe in Jesus Christ! Let our sin nature be put to death that the power of Jesus Christ was raised us up with him and break us free from strongholds and bondage.
