“When it comes to strong holds and bondage in our lives, there are two things that have to be understood. First, you are stuck! Nothing you yourself can do can get yourself free from the position of being in bondage or a stronghold. In our message series today, we begin the portion of understanding Christ’s authority. In the book of Hebrews chapters 1 and 2 we learn that because of this fully established authority in his son ship to the father, he is the one, who by his power, has come to deliver. Our faith must turn from our own ability to escape being bound and stuck in the former sin nature of our lives, and now be turned towards a life of faith directed at the One who alone has the authority to set us free from it.
